1 package @barillaitalia bucatini 1 pound of shrimp 2 andouille sausage 10 cherry tomatoes halved 4 garlic cloves minced 1 shallot chopped 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 3 tbsp butter (I used truffle) 2 handfuls chopped kale 3 tsp capers
Directions: prepare pasta as package states, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water. Remove casing from sausage and sauté until fully cooked and crumbled. Remove from pan. Add a tablespoon of butter plus shallot, tomato, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 3-5 minutes. Add in shrimp and sauté until cooked. Remove shrimp, add the remaining butter, red pepper flakes, and pasta water. Let simmer a few minutes until thickened. Toss in pasta, kale, sausage, shrimp, and capers. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
